A significant milestone was reached on January 14, 2025, with the successful blessing and inauguration of the San Juan Water District’s (SJWD) new pumping station, the Sagaral Pumping Station (Pumping Station 16), located in Barangay Janaojanao. This new facility is part of SJWD’s ongoing commitment to improve water supply and service to the community and its surrounding areas.
The ceremony was attended by GM Geba, along with Board of Directors headed by Dir. Marceliano Abante, Dir. Ma. Luisa Gracia Borjal, Dir. Cristhia Cruz, Dir. Ojiemar Alcantara and the SJWD staff; the lot donor, Brgy. Captain Editha Sagaral and Barangay Janaojanao officials who expressed their gratitude for the project’s completion and its potential to benefit residents and businesses alike.
The blessing ceremony, which was led by the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Alexius Magtibay, was a moment of reflection and prayer for the success of the project. It was attended by the SJWD staff and other stakeholders who have been instrumental in the development of the new pumping station. The event marked the culmination of months of planning, collaboration, and construction, with the new facility set to enhance water distribution and help meet the growing needs of the community.
