Date: May 14, 21 & 27
With the COVID-19 Pandemic still looming and the lack of COVID vaccines in the country, SJWD decided to have all its employees vaccinated against Flu and Pneumonia as we wait for the arrival of the COVID vaccines. Currently, the country is now vaccinating Category A1 (Workers in Front-line Health Services) and Category A2 (Senior Citizens).
This vaccination initiative was lifted from the Republic Act No. 11469, more popularly known as the “Bayanihan Act” to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. By vaccinating our employees, they are given added protection in fighting the enemy we couldn’t see. This would also lessen possible absences and trips to the hospital brought about by flu, coughs, colds and the likes because they would have a stronger immune system.
Vaccinations were held in batches to maintain health and safety protocols.
