This year, San Juan Water District HR brought an exciting and fun twist to Valentine’s Day celebrations by organizing a color-coded shirt event, where employees wore shirts in different colors to represent the various relationship status they are in. The event was a delightful and lighthearted way to spread joy and promote camaraderie within the office.
Employees were encouraged to wear shirts in different colors, each symbolizing a unique Valentine’s theme:
Pink: Flirting
Red: In a relationship
Yellow: In Love
Green: Single / No GF-BF
White: It’s Complicated
Blue: Brokenhearted
Black: Bitter

This color-coded celebration not only added a splash of vibrant energy to the office but also created an opportunity for staff to express their personalities and celebrate love in all its forms. The staff participated enthusiastically, with some even going the extra mile to accessorize with Valentine-themed items, making for a cheerful and lively atmosphere in the workplace.
The event was not just about the colors, but about fostering unity and creating a sense of togetherness among the team. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of heartwarming moments as SJWD staff came together to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a creative, engaging, and meaningful way. Happy Valentine’s Day from the San Juan Water District!
