With former Director Edith Joyce S. Geba taking the helm of San Juan Water District as its General Manager and with the retirement of former Chairman Myrna Salud; the SJWD Board of Directors welcomed two wonderful ladies to fill in the vacancies.
SJWD welcomed Director Ma. Luisa Gracia B. Diego last January 4, 2011 and was elected as their new Board Secretary. Mrs. Diego was a former Board of Director from 2011-2018; and was again appointed to represent the Professional Sector for 2021-2026.
For the first meeting for the month of March, the BOD welcomed Mrs. Cristhia C. Cruz as their newest Board of Director. Director Cruz was a former representative of the Women’s Sector from January 2011 until the end of her term on December 2016. GM Geba succeeded her starting January 2017 but wasn’t able to complete the full 6 year term because she was appointed as the new General Manager for 2021. Mrs. Cruz will then serve the last two years of the unexpired term of Mrs. Geba starting March 1, 2021 until December 31, 2022.
SJWD is excited to finally have its complete Board of Directors this 2021. We are looking forward for to great things this new set of BOD will bring to us.
